Press Kits
A major tool for generating Public Relations (PR) is a Press Kit. Classically, this is a pocket folder that contains individual inserts (typically letter-sized sheets of paper) about you, your business or products. The most common kinds of inserts are your biography, summary of your business, FAQ (Questions, with Answers), a professionally made (printable) photo of you, and reprints of articles other journalists have written about you or your business.

Unlike Advertising, which is promotional space that you pay for;
Public Relations (PR) is getting journalists to write stories about you. Stories that
have the dual advantage of not costing you money (not directly, anyway), and often
carrying more credibility with potential customers than an outright advertisement.
At theWINgroup there is “No Standard” Press Kit. “Everything is custom”. Depending on your business, sector or needs, a Custom Press Kit can mean the difference between your business being just another company, or your company being “The Standard” in its field. This can only be achieved through PR. Allow us to help get you started.
The overall idea is that, by sending your Custom Press Kit to journalists, you make it easier (therefore more likely) for them to write about you. It's easier because you’ve provided them with pre-digested background information; perhaps even enough that they could write about you without even having to interview you. Of course, traditionally and theoretically Press Kits were targeted at "the press," but they can also be sent directly to potential clients and others.
At theWINgroup we go steps further to develop your Press Kit and your Electronic Press Kit (EPK) to a level of Distinction and Customization that is beyond any other on the market.
